OLLU Grieves the Death of Volleyball Student-Athlete Angelina Martinez

SAN ANTONIO (Oct. 10, 2022) – Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) student-athlete Angelina Martinez passed away on Sunday, Oct. 9, from injuries sustained in a car accident in Northside San Antonio.

Martinez was a member of the Saints volleyball team for three seasons from 2019-2021.She joined the team after graduating from Ronald Reagan High School In San Antonio. She was a kinesiology major.

A prayer service will be held on Oct. 10 at 4 p.m. in Sacred Heart Chapel. Funeral arrangements are pending. A GoFund Me page has been created and those interested can donate here:  https://gofund.me/25950529.
