SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Jarvis Christian women's soccer team played to a scoreless draw with Our Lady of the Lake on Saturday afternoon.
This was the first tie of the season for the Bulldogs as their record moves to 5-7-1 overall and 2-4-1 in the Red River Athletic Conference. OLLU moves to 6-3-5 on the season with a 4-1-3 conference mark.
The OLLU Saints outshot JCU, 22-1 in the matchup. Mitzy Guereca registered the only shot of the afternoon for the Bulldogs.
Jazul Amaya got the start at the goalie spot for JCU. She played all 90 minutes and recorded 14 saves to keep the Saints off the scoreboard.
