OLLU Softball's Grace Ross Wins Red River Player of the Week

WACO, TEXAS (April 1, 2024) – Grace Ross of Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) captured the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Softball Player of the Week award for March 25-31. This is the ninth set of weekly winners for the 2024 RRAC softball season.

Ross went 3-for-4 as the Saints swept their doubleheader with conference challenger University of Houston-Victoria (UHV) on Thursday. The junior catcher from Austin, Texas, homered and drove in two runs in both games as OLLU won by scores of 4-0 and 8-0. Ross also contributed a double and nine putouts. She jumped to second in the RRAC in home runs (7) and seventh in RBIs (22) on the season. The top-ranked Saints remain unbeaten in conference play at 14-0 with a 37-1 record overall.
