SAN ANTONIO, Texas — A&M-Texarkana held off Our Lady of the Lake on Saturday night, leaving with a 75-68 win and pulling into a first-place tie with LSU-Shreveport in the Red River Athletic Conference.
Tray Spencer notched a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds, Kobe Powell had 13 points to go with eight rebounds and Connor Ouellette added 11 points.
The Eagles led by as many as 12, thanks to a 38-24 rebound advantage and 25 points from the bench. TAMUT also shot 50 percent from the floor (27-for-54).
A&M-Texarkana will play at Xavier on Thursday and Louisiana College next Saturday to close out the regular season.
