Ramirez, assists in providing immediate assessment and treatment of injuries and ailments for 18 intercollegiate teams (baseball, volleyball, softball, cheer, dance, drumline, plus men's and women's basketball, cross-country, golf, soccer, tennis and track and field). The staff implements rehabilitation, conditioning and injury prevention plans and maintains accurate medical documentation per privacy guidelines.  

Ramirez arrives at OLLU after graduating from NCAA D1 Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi (TAMUCC). She worked as an athletic training student, assisting TAMUCC athletic trainers and team doctors. 

She received her associate degree in Interdisciplinary Students from South Texas College. Ramirez earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology-Pre-Allied Health from TAMUCC and a Master of Science in Athletic Training from TAMUCC. 

Ramirez's certifications include CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers with Epinephrine Auto-Injector Training, Asthma Inhaler Training and Administering emergency oxygen. She's also had Bloodborne Pathogens training.
