ANAIS VELASQUEZ - VOLLEYBALL

Anais Velasquez guided the Saints to a win over Southwest to close out the 2024 regular season on Nov. 9. She recorded nine kills on 20 total attacks for a hitting percentage of .350 and she added two block assists. In the postseason semifinals against Xavier on Nov. 15, she contributed 15 kills on 29 total attacks for a hitting percentage of .345, and she added three total blocks. In the championship match against Texarkana on Nov. 16, she tallied 10 kills on 21 total attacks for a hitting percentage of .286 to earn her the tournament MVP honors. Anais is a freshman from San Antonio. She is majoring in Kinesiology. Congratulations, Anais!
