JULIA PLATA, WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

Julia Plata provided key scoring off the bench for the Saints against Wayland Baptist University on Friday. She hit 3-of-5 three-pointers and totaled a season-high 11 points. Julia also had a season-high 34 minutes of playing time. She scored nine points against Texas A&M University-Texarkana in the previous game on Dec. 16. Julia is a freshman from San Antonio and is majoring in Marketing. Congratulations, Julia!
