Saints Lose Close Game Against St. Mary's University

SAN ANTONIO (Feb. 21, 2023) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) baseball team fell to NCAA D2 St. Mary's University (StMU) 6-4 on Tuesday. The Saints are now 8-8 overall and remain at 2-1 in the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC). The Rattlers improve to 6-7 on the season.

Head Coach Matt Piker commented, "This was a close game, and we had our opportunities. We didn't make enough plays in all three phases. Like I alluded to at the beginning of the year, we win games because of the job our players do, and we lose games because I didn't do a good enough job getting us prepared. We look forward to getting back on the field this weekend."
