Saints Take Two of Three Against Huston-Tillotson University

AUSTIN, TEXAS (April 15, 2023) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) baseball team won two games against Huston-Tillotson University (HTU) in a three-game series over the weekend. The Saints improve to 22-18 overall and 14-9 in the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC). The Rams fall to 11-23 overall and 7-16 in RRAC competition.

Head Coach Matt Piker said, "The team did a great job of winning the first two games on Friday. Game three was disappointing even though we won the series. It shows that we still have a lot of work to do. We still have everything in front of us and can accomplish the goals that we set at the beginning of the year. It's going to take some heart and fight and this team has shown the ability to have both. I'm excited to get back on the field Tuesday against Schreiner University. We have had a long stretch of road games and it will be great to come back home."
