SAN ANTONIO (April 18, 2023) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) baseball team downed Schreiner University (SU) 14-4 in eight innings on Tuesday night. The Saints improve to 23-18 overall and remain at 14-9 in the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC). The Mountaineers are now 15-18 on the season.

Basics
The Saints totaled 14 runs on 16 hits against NCAA D3 Schreiner University on Tuesday. OLLU scored in every inning besides the fourth and fifth frames. Eight different players recorded at least one RBI. Francisco Martinez and Jackson Kalisky both tallied three RBIs. The Saints put the game out of reach in the seventh inning. They led 5-4 heading into the inning and added eight runs. OLLU scored one run in the bottom of the eighth inning to complete the run-rule. Christopher Perez started on the mound and went three innings with one earned run and two strikeouts. Dominique Boggs pitched in relief later in the contest and earned the win after going 1.2 innings. The Saints have won three of their previous four games.
