OLLU's Jackson Kalisky Wins Red River Athletic Conference Player of the Week

WACO, TEXAS (May 1, 2023) – Jackson Kalisky of Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) earned recognition as the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Baseball Player of the Week for April 24-30. This is the 14th and final set of weekly awards for the 2023 baseball season.

Kalisky belted two home runs and racked up nine RBIs in the Saints' three-game sweep of University of the Southwest to close out the regular season. The freshman third baseman from San Antonio connected on a two-run homer to tie the first game, leading to a 6-5 victory. Kalisky also delivered a game-winning single in the second game, which resulted in a 7-6 score. He closed out the series with six RBIs in the finale while tying the school record for home runs with his 12th of the season. Kalisky led the conference in homers and RBIs (68) this season. OLLU is seeded third in the RRAC baseball tournament with a 20-9 conference mark and an overall record of 29-18.
