Baseball Plates 20 Runs in Win Over Southwest at RRAC Championship Tournament

STERLINGTON, LA. (May 4, 2024) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) baseball team won a thrilling elimination game against the University of the Southwest (USW) 20-15 at the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Championship Tournament. The Saints are the No. 6 seed, and the Mustangs were the No. 7 seed.

Head Coach Matt Piker commented, "Holy smokes… what a game. Obviously, we wish we wouldn't have had to burn through so many pitchers, but I'm incredibly proud of how our players responded time and time again. I could go through numerous individual performances, but it was a great Saints victory. We stayed in the fight and chased checkmarks the whole game. I'm proud of how the men fought today."
