Saints Spirit Competed at College Classic Virtual Championships

SAN ANTONIO (March 19, 2023) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) competitive cheer and dance teams competed in the College Classic Virtual Championships on Saturday. The College Classic and the Dance Team Union hosted the event.

Head Coach Crystal Brock said, "The cheer and dance teams continue to represent the university, city and state at the national level. We are proud of their dedication and work ethic. We set high standards of excellence for all of our athletes, and they continue to rise to the occasion. Together we are building a legacy for future teams to learn and grow from. We understand the role we play in making history at OLLU and for the OLLU spirit program. We love what we do and the people we serve."

Basics

The competitive dance team took first place in the open team performance division, which marks the second year in a row earning the title. Calumet College of St. Joseph finished in second place behind the Saints. The competitive cheer team earned third place in the open all-girl division in their first appearance in program history. College of the Sequoias won the event while Point Park University finished in second place.
