Bio

Sean Jacob Flores joined the Spirit coaching staff in the fall of 2023. He is a native of San Antonio and attended San Antonio College where he majored in music. Flores currently studies at Texas State University as a pre-music major.

Flores has been a drumline technician at Weiss, Samuel Clemens, Thomas Jeffers, Fox Tech and Central Catholic High Schools. He’s also offered percussion private lessons at various high schools. He was the Thomas Jefferson High School percussion specialist, and his duties included instructing all levels of percussion throughout the marching season and spring season. He composed all percussion music for the schools UIL marching season and composed the TECA indoor percussion show, leading to trophies and placements. He also instructed all levels throughout the marching season and spring season at Central Catholic High School. He also choreographed and directed the band in visual and marching aspects.

His performances include those with the Heart of Texas Band, the San Antonio College Jazz Band, the San Antonio Symphony, the San Antonio Percussion Ensemble, just to name a few.
