OLLU Dance's Ochoa and Rodriguez Receive NAIA Scholar-Athlete Recognition

KANSAS CITY, MO. (March 29, 2024) – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2024 Daktronics NAIA Competitive Dance Scholar-Athletes on Thursday. Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) congratulates Angelina Ochoa and Bianca Rodriguez. 

The 2024 list honors 47 schools and 176 student-athletes , who achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.

Angelina Ochoa, a sophomore from San Antonio, earned a 4.0 GPA. Bianca Rodriguez, a sophomore, earned a 3.83 GPA.
