Saints Lose in Final Seconds to LSUA

ALEXANDRIA, LA. (Jan. 21, 2023) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's basketball team came up short in the final seconds against LSU-Alexandria (LSUA) 74-72. The Saints drop to 11-9 overall and 6-6 in the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC). The Generals jump to 14-6 overall and 8-4 in RRAC competition.

Head Coach Chris Dial said, "We don't often have the chance to win at LSU-Alexandria, and we were in a position to do so. Unfortunately, we also put ourselves in a position to let a referee make an extremely impactful call at the end. We needed to rebound better prior to that and execute more effectively down the stretch. Every night will be a dogfight from here on out. We look forward to getting back home."
