Men's Basketball JV Defeats San Antonio College in Thrilling Game, Senior Aidan Torres Honored
SAN ANTONIO (Feb. 24, 2023) - The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) JV men's basketball team played its last game of the season on Thursday night. The Saints won in a thrilling match against San Antonio College 70-69. The team finished with a 17-3 record.
Prior to the game, four-year senior Aidan Torres was honored. He is a native of Houston, where he attended Houston Christian High School. Torres joined the team in 2019 as a point guard and has been part of the team for four years. He graduated with his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology in fall 2022, and he is in his first semester as a graduate student pursuing a Master of Science in Financial Analysis.
The team's coaching staff includes Head Coach BJ Alzaid and Assistant Coaches Marlon Williams and Eric Bitoni.
