Records: OLLU (20-9) Louisiana Christian (16-13)

Location: Alexandria, Louisiana (Laborde Earles Coliseum)

ALEXANDRIA, Louisiana – The Our Lady of the Lake (OLLU) men's basketball team took an early exit from the 2025 Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Men's Basketball Tournament on Friday morning as they fell to six-seeded Louisiana Christian University (LCU) in the quarterfinal round. The Saints struggled offensively, shooting just 16 percent from long range and 39 percent from the floor.

In a tightly contested first half, neither team led by more than seven points. OLLU struck early, building a 12-6 lead after back-to-back buckets from Kenyon Elliot. Over the next five minutes of the contest, the Wildcats found some momentum, eventually taking an 18-16 lead with just under eight minutes left in the half. LCU worked to extend their lead to 24-17 at the six-minute mark. After a Trey Law layup tied things at 26, OLLU scored the final four points of the half to take a slim 30-26 lead into the break.

It appeared the Saints were in control as they built a nine-point lead over the first seven minutes of the second frame. But as the game would have it, LCU went on a 12-2 run to regain the lead at 47-46 at the halfway mark. With 8:48 to play, the Wildcats converted a pair of free throws to take a 49-48 lead, a lead they would never relinquish.
