Saints Men are in Second Place at John Bohmann Tournament

SEGUIN, TEXAS (Sept. 11, 2023) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's golf team completed the first 36 holes of the Texas Lutheran University (TLU) John Bohmann Memorial Intercollegiate Tournament today. 

The Saints have totaled 566 points and are in second place behind Southwestern University, which has 561 points. Trinity University has 571, followed by the University of St. Thomas with 579, Schreiner University with 580, Belhaven University with 590 and Texas Lutheran University with 593.

Oliver Gaisford and Victor Peña are leading the way for the Saints with a 72-68/140  and 68-72/140 respectfully. Both are in a tie for third place. Sergio Garcia has a 72-70/142 for a tie for fourth place, Alex Marshall has a 72-72/144 for a tie for sixth place and Ethan Aleman has a 72-76/148 for a tie for ninth place.

The teams will tee off at 8 a.m. on Tuesday for the final round of the tournament.
