Saints Men Finish First Round at San Antonio Shootout

SAN ANTONIO (Feb. 19, 2024) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's golf team is in eighth place after one round at the San Antonio Shootout. The tournament is sponsored by NCAA D3 Schreiner University on the Canyons Course at TPC San Antonio. The course has a par of 72.

Wayland Baptist University is in first place with a 291 for 3-over. Benedictine University-Mesa is in second place at 306, followed by Oklahoma City University at 309, Bellevue University at 312, Mount Mercy University at 320, SCAD-Atlanta at 249 and Grand View University at 305. The Saints have a total of 326 in the eighth spot.

Massimo Garcia leads the Saints with a 78 in 13th place, followed by Oliver Gaisford and Jake Casias in 22nd with an 81. Sergio Garcia and Victor Peña Cortez are tied at 32nd place at 86.
