Men's Golf is in Second Place at RRAC Championships Day One
VICTORIA, TEXAS (April 29, 2024) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's golf team completed the first day of the 2024 Red River Athletic Conference – Frontier Conference Championships at the Victoria Country Club, which has a par 72 with 6,950 yards. The event is being sponsored by the University of Houston-Victoria (UHV).
After the first round, the Saints are in second place behind UHV. Results follow:

- Louisiana Christian University – 308
- University of the Southwest – 317
- Montana Tech University – 318
- Carroll College – 338
- University of Providence – 350
Leading the way for the Saints is Oliver Gaisford, who is in fourth place. He shot a round one 71. Victor Peña Cortes is in a tie for sixth with a score of 73, followed by Massimo Garcia at 74, Sergio Garcia at 75 and Jake Casias at 82.
The tournament will continue on Tuesday.
