OLLU Men's Golf Remains in Second Place at RRAC Championships
VICTORIA, TEXAS (April 30, 2024) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's golf team wrapped up the second day of the 2024 Red River Athletic Conference – Frontier Conference Championships at the Victoria Country Club, which has a par 72 with 6,950 yards. The event is being sponsored by the University of Houston-Victoria (UHV).
After the second round, the Saints remained in second place behind UHV. Results follow:
- UHV – 286/284=570
- OLLU – 293/295=588
- Rocky Mountain College – 294/299=593
- Texas A&M University – San Antonio – 300/299=599
- Montana Tech University – 318/303=621
- University of the Southwest – 317/308=625
- Louisiana Christian University – 308/324=632
- Carroll College – 338/337=675
- University of Providence – 350/339=689
Oliver Gaisford leads the Saints in second place at 71/71=142. Victor Peña Cortes is also in the top 10 at sixth place with 73/73=146. Sergio Garcia (75/75=150) and Massimo Garcia (74/76=150) are both tied for the 13th spot. Jake Casias is in 32nd place at 82/79=161.
The tournament will continue on Wednesday.
