Men's Golf Claims Second Place at RRAC Championships

VICTORIA, TEXAS (May 1, 2024) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's golf squad finished play at the 2024 Red River Athletic Conference – Frontier Conference Championships at the Victoria Country Club, which has a par 72 with 6,950 yards. The event was sponsored by the University of Houston-Victoria (UHV).

Head Coach Arnie Martinez said, "I'm proud of how our men played. Victoria Country Club is always a test. The guys played hard and made a lot of good decisions, but UHV is a solid team who played well this week. The guys worked hard all year and although we didn't come out on top, I could see the growth with our team. I'd also like to thank our two seniors, Massimo Garcia and Sergio Garcia. They have been great athletes and a pleasure to coach. We have work to do before next season and the off-season starts tomorrow. Go Saints."

The Saints took second place out of nine teams in three rounds. OLLU finished in second place after every round.
