Saints Men's Soccer Falls To Houston-Victoria

VICTORIA, TEXAS (Oct. 20, 2022) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's soccer team fell to the University of Houston-Victoria (UHV) 5-0 this afternoon. The Saints move to 2-9-3 overall and 2-5-2 in the Red River Athletic Conference, while the Jaguars are now 8-2-4 overall and 5-0-3 in conference.

Head Coach Arthur Salazar commented, "I feel like we had a solid first 60 minutes despite giving up an early goal. The guys were disciplined on defense and really made it difficult  for a strong attacking team to break us down, which led to a few opportunities in transition. Hopefully, we come way from today with a better understanding of what it's going to take to compete with top teams in the conference."
