Men's Soccer Loses to A&M-San Antonio 1-0

SAN ANTONIO (Oct. 7,2023) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's soccer team lost 1-0 against Texas A&M University – San Antonio (A&M-SA) this afternoon in a Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) matchup. The Saints drop to 3-6-1 and 3-3-1 in conference while A&M-SA is now 7-2 and 6-1 in conference.

Head Coach Shane Hurley commented, "Our young men battled through the ebbs of the game and found some high quality opportunities when it flowed for us. Unfortunately, we failed to finish off our second half opportunities and gave up a set piece near our goal with 31 second left. They made us pay for both opportunities squandered and a momentary lapse of in defensive discipline. Our attitude and commitment to work continued to be good and will pay dividends beyond the score line."
