Saints Men's Tennis Shocks St. Mary's University 4-3
SAN ANTONIO (Feb. 12, 2023) - The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's tennis team upset St. Mary's University (StMU) 4-3 on Saturday. The Saints jump to 4-3 overall while the Rattlers drop to 5-1. Full results are listed below.
Head Coach Dave Watts commented, "I was really proud of our men's team. They got down early losing the doubles point but they battled really hard in singles. Johan Favelin, Kyllian Savary and Guido Picasso gave us big wins. It ultimately came down to Enzo Frequelin's match at the third line, and he came out with a big third set win. The team did a great job supporting each other and brought a ton of energy. This was a great win for the program."
