Enzo Frequelin and Guido Picasso were leading in their matches but we lost line six before we could finish those matches. William Carey University was the better team today."

Watts said, "This was a match we had been anticipating since the beginning of spring. We started out strong by taking the doubles point. Kyllian Savary won an epic three-set match on line one singles. Johan Favelin battled at line two and it was a great match to watch. Favelin had some match points but his opponent played very well and was able to fend him off. I know the team is disappointed with the loss, but hopefully we can learn from the result. I hope we have another opportunity to play Xavier at the conference tournament."
