Kyllian Savary Starts NAIA ITA Cup With Win Over Tennessee Wesleyan

MOUNT BERRY, GA. (Oct. 13, 2023) – Kyllian Savary qualified for the NAIA ITA Cup in singles after he claimed the Gulf ITA Regional Championship on Oct. 1. He swept four out of his five victories at the Gulf Regional. The NAIA ITA Cup tournament is being held at the Rome Tennis Center from Oct. 12-15.

Savary opened the ITA Cup with a victory over Zoilo Rios of Tennessee Wesleyan University. He won the first set 6-2 and Rios took the second 6-4 to force a third and deciding set. Savary pulled through with a 6-4 victory to advance to the quarterfinals. The Saints have played three tournaments this fall. Savary's record in singles is 10-2 following the win yesterday.
