Five from Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) have been selected – the first time in OLLU history for the indoor team to earn this distinction.

Student-athletes earned USTFCCCA All-America honors by finishing among the top-8 in their events – including as a member of a relay – at the 2024 NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships, which took place this past weekend in Brookings, S.D.

Hendrick Ramirez has been named an NAIA All-American. He qualified for the finals after finishing sixth in the One Mile preliminaries. In the finals, Ramirez placed fifth overall with a time of 4:09.97 – an OLLU Indoor all-time record.

The Saints 4x400m relay team consisting of Julian Verastegui, Jalen Bell, Richard Davis and Cerrone Thompson are NAIA All-Americans. The team qualified for the finals after finishing fourth in the preliminaries. In the finals, the team placed seventh with a time of 3:16.05 – an OLLU Indoor all-time record.
