OLLU's Bell Wins Third Track Athlete of the Week

WACO, TEXAS (April 9, 2024) – Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Track and Field Athletes of the Week have been announced for April 1-7 with this week's honoree being Our Lady of the Lake University's (OLLU)  including Jalen Bell for track. This is the fifth set of track & field weekly awards for the 2024 RRAC outdoor season. 

Bell placed first in his heat and third overall in the preliminaries of the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.40 seconds at the David Noble Relays on Saturday. He advanced to the finals where he finished in second place with a time of 21.47. The junior from Killeen, Texas, also finished in second in his heat and seventh overall in the 100-mater dash at 10.43.

This is Bell's third Track Athlete of the Week award this season.
