Castaneda commented, "I chose to come to OLLU because not only is it not too far from home, but the culture and staff on campus are so welcoming! When I first took my tour of OLLU I was amazed by how pretty campus was. It is very unique in its own way. I also chose to come to OLLU because of the softball coaches and the standards they have of a winning program. Having winning records I know I will be pushed more than ever and have the best coaching staff helping with that. I would love to be a part of that and playing my last two years with a team that wants to compete."

Jazlyn Gomez is from Horizon, Texas, where she graduated from Eastlake High School. She is a transfer from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. She will major in rehab services.

Gomez said, "I chose to come to OLLU because the standards are high, and I was looking for a more competitive atmosphere. I wanted to be a part of the hard-working mindset and now I am."

San Antonio native Annika Litterio is a graduate of Warren High School. She attended University of Texas at El Paso. She is a Two-Time Second Team CUSA All-Academic. She is majoring in psychology.

Litterio commented," My decision to attend OLLU was motivated by my desire to compete for a national championship and represent my hometown and family."
