PLAINVIEW, TEXAS (Nov. 6, 2024) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's basketball team opened the Queens Classic in a 112-59 loss to No. 18-ranked Wayland Baptist University (WBU). The Saints move to 1-1 on the season while the Pioneers improve to 2-0.
Head Coach Tanya Ray said, "We came up against a very good team on their home court. It was our first road game of the year with a fairly inexperienced group. We can't dwell on this one for too long as we have to turn around quickly to get ready for Oklahoma Panhandle State University. We will get a chance to watch film once we get back home to see areas where we can improve."
