Saints Women's Golf Marks a Fifth-Place Finish at Lady Bulldog Classic

BLANCO, TEXAS (Sept. 13, 2022)– Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's golf finished in fifth place at the Lady Bulldog Classic sponsored by Texas Lutheran University (TLU). The tournament took place at the Vaaler Creek Golf Course.

Head Coach Arnie Martinez commented, "I'm proud of our women. Vaaler Creek Golf Course was a tough test. They played two high demanding rounds, and I'm happy with how they battled. With our first tournament in the books, we dis some things well and there are other things that we know we have to improve upon. We have some time before our 

Annabelle Reyna finished in ninth place overall with a first-round 82 and a second-round 80 for a final 162. She led the Saints to a 338/338=676 final.

The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and Trinity University tied for first place with an overall 632. Following them were Southwestern University with a 323/331=654 and LeTourneau University with a 349/322=671. After OLLU for sixth place was Schreiner University with a 343/350=693, Texas Lutheran University with a 361/356=717, the University of Mary Hardin-Simmons with a 357/365=721 and the University of Dallas with a 361/364=725.

Miliani Georges placed 16th with a first-round 83 and second-round 86. Ceci Lattuada marked an 86 for both rounds, while Alexis Calzada had a first-round 87 and second-round 86 and Madelyn Miller had a 95 first round and a 90 second round.
