Women's Golf Concludes TMU Invite in Third Place

LLANO, CALIF. (April 9, 2024) - The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's golf team placed third out of six teams after the final round at The Master's University (TMU) Invite. The teams competed at the Crystalaire Country Club in Llano, Calif.

Head Coach Arnie Martinez commented, "I'm proud of how the women played. Crystalaire Country Club is a beautiful and challenging golf course. The team struggled a bit on day one but responded well on day two by shooting 20 strokes better. Congratulations to our two seniors. Ceci Lattuada placed fifth and Madelyn Miller tied for eighth place. They adapted well to the conditions and changes that mountain golf brings. It wasn't easy out there and they battled back a put up a score today. We have a lot of good things to take from this trip. We will keep working to get better. Go Saints."

University of Victoria won the tournament with a total of 330/319=649 and Hope International University placed second at 335/333=668. The Saints improved to third place at 347/327=674, followed by Menlo College at 349/326=675, TMU at 331/345=676 and Carroll College at 368/362=730.
