OLLU Women's Golf Completes RRAC Championships in Third Place

VICTORIA, TEXAS (May 1, 2024) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's golf squad concluded competition at the 2024 Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) – Frontier Conference Championships at the Victoria Country Club, which has a par 72 with 5,938 yards. The event was sponsored by the University of Houston-Victoria (UHV).

Head Coach Arnie Martinez commented, "The team played hard this week. The event was changed to three days and we knew conditioning and mental poise would be key in playing well. The ladies struggled a bit on our first round but played better in rounds two and three. We are always playing to win but it's important to learn the lessons needed to improve. Congratulations to Madelyn Miller on her top five finish and Kendall Ward being awarded Freshman of the Year. It was a great way for her to finish her college career and I'm happy for her. The ladies worked hard this year and I'm proud of them. We have a lot of ladies returning and we plan to work in the off-season to get better for next year. Go Saints."
