SAN ANTONIO (Nov. 8, 2022) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's soccer team will play Texas A&M University – Texarkana (TAMUT) in the Red River Athletic Conference Championships semifinals game on Thursday, Nov. 10. The Saints are the No. 4 seed and TAMUT is the top seed of the tournament.

Semifinals and Championship schedule

The Saints defeated the No. 5 seed Louisiana Christian University (LCU) last weekend to advance to the semifinals. As the conference regular-season champs, the Eagles had a bye first week. The teams will play on Thursday, Nov. 10, at 11 a.m.

The other semifinals game is between the No. 2 seed University of Houston-Victoria against the No. 3 seed LSU-Alexandria. Their game will take place at 1:30 p.m.

The winners of each semifinals game will play in the championships on Saturday, Nov. 12, at 1 p.m.

All games take place at TAMUT Eagle Field in Texarkana, Texas.

History

The Saints have made it to the finals in 2009, 2010 and 2021; the semifinals in 2011, 2012, 2018 and 2022; and they won the conference tournament in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2019 and 2020. The Saints missed making the playoffs two years – in 2008 and in 2017.

OLLU season stats

In 18 games this season, the Saints have scored 44 goals, and added 19 assists on 269 shots, 166 on goal.

Kaitlyn Olivas leads the team in goals with 10, followed by Kyleigh Spree-Kolos with nine. Spree-Kolos also leads in shots with 44, 25 on goal, and Olivas has 30 shots, 23 on goal. Tess Pitcher has logged 52 saves and has a 6-2-6 record with four shutouts.
