Tess Pitcher Wins Defensive Player of the Week Award

WACO, TEXAS (Oct. 11, 2023) – Tess Pitcher of Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) was recognized as the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for Oct. 2-8. This is the seventh set of conference awards for the 2023 women's soccer season.

Pitcher stood tall in goal as the Saints tied Texas A&M University-Texarkana, 0-0. The senior goalkeeper from San Antonio marked 10 saves in the draw. Pitcher is third in the RRAC with a 0.75 goals against average. OLLU advanced to 5-1-1 in the RRAC standings and 6-2-1 overall.
