Saints Women's Tennis Defeated by Lewis-Clark State College
ALEXANDRIA, LA. (Feb. 23, 2023) - The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's tennis squad lost to Lewis-Clark State College (LCSC) 4-2 on Thursday. The Saints fall to 4-9 overall while the Warriors improve to 5-5. Full results are listed below.
Head Coach Dave Watts commented, "The women played a tough match. Unfortunately, the other team was just a bit stronger today. Lucia Popluharova played a very tough match at line one and outlasted her opponent. Valerie Navarro-Cavazos made another three-set comeback to win at line three. Ana Ossio was making a comeback, but it was too late as the match was clinched at line six. There is a lot to be learned from the match today, so we are just going to keep trying to improve."
