Women's Tennis Secures 4-3 Win Over NCAA D2 UTPB
SAN ANTONIO (Feb. 11, 2024) - The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's tennis team defeated the University of Texas Permian Basin (UTPB) 4-3 on Saturday. The Saints drop to 3-2 overall while the UTPB Falcons drop to 3-1.
Head Coach Dave Watts commented, "Our women did a fantastic job today. Last year, we lost 5-0, so to come out with a 4-3 win today was really exciting. The women had a great start winning the dubs point. Ana Ossio was the first off the court winning at line four. Sofia Gonzalez had another solid performance at line six. Millie Wileman had the clinching match at line five. Hopefully we can carry this momentum into Georgia next week."
