Women's Tennis Shocks Cumberlands 4-2
LAWRENCEVILLE, GA. (Feb. 16, 2024) - The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's tennis team marked a huge win over No. 14-ranked University of the Cumberlands (UC) 4-2 on Thursday. The Saints improve to 4-2 on the season and will play two more matches at the Grizzly Invitational.
Head Coach Dave Watts said, "I'm proud of how our women played tonight. We spent a good portion of the afternoon looking at video of our previous doubles matches. The team was very well prepared to play doubles today. They did a great job by capturing the doubles point with wins on line one and three. Lucia Popluharova, Millie Wileman and Alexandra Mille had big wins in singles to help us clinch the match."
