Women's Tennis Falls to SCAD 4-0
LAWRENCEVILLE, GA. (Feb. 17, 2024) - The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's tennis squad completed play at the Grizzly Invitational in a 4-0 loss to No. 10-ranked Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). The Saints are now 4-4 on the season.
Head Coach Dave Watts said, "SCAD Savannah showed why they are such a highly ranked team. They were too good for us today. We gave them a good fight in doubles, but they took all three sets. I thought we put up a good fight in singles, but they were just a bit sharper on every line. We will head home and keep working while getting healthy. It's early in the season so we need to make sure we are sharper heading into our conference matches."
