Saints Relay Team Finishes In 14th Place at the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships

MARIO, IND. (May 27, 2023) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) Saints 4x100m relay team competed in the 2023 NAIA Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships this week. The Saints finished in 14th place with a time of 47.22. Thirty teams competed in the event this year.

The team was made up of Alondra Toledo, Kiana Kebbi, Autumn Roberts and Larrisa McHenry.

Head Coach Patrick Torres commented, "The women's team is knocking on the door of the next level of competition. With the experience gained on this trip, I like our chances of making a final next year in the sprint relay."

This marked the second consecutive year the relay team has qualified for the NAIA Championships. Last year, Kebbi, Roberts, Toledo and McHenry, along with alternate Alexandria Segura, participated in the national meet. Their mark was 48.77 for 30th place out of 39 teams.
