OLLU Women Opens 2024 Season at Trinity Invitational
SAN ANTONIO (March 1-2, 2024) – The Our Lady of the Lake University Women's Outdoor Track and Field Team opened its 2024 season this weekend at the Trinity Invitational. The event was sponsored by Trinity University.
Head Coach Patrick Torres commented, "It was an outstanding opener and our athletes are clearly poised to run a fantastic outdoor season. I'm excited for this spring and seeing records fall this early is a great sign of things to come."
Several Saints placed in the top five of their events. They include first-place Madison Perez in the 800m with an OLLU Outdoor Record time, second-place Mia Francis in the high jump with an OLLU Outdoor Record mark, third-place Larrisa McHenry in the 100m and fourth-place Leah Chanette in the high jump.
