OLLU Women Compete in TAM-Kingsville Cactus Cup
KINGSVILLE, TEXAS (April 14, 2024) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's track and field team joined six other schools to compete in the Texas A&M University-Kingsville (TAMUK) Cactus Cup on Saturday. Joining the Saints in the competition were NCAA D1 University of the Incarnate Word, Texas State University and the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley as well NCAA D2 TAMUK and NJCAA Victoria College.
Head Coach Patrick Torres commented, "I loved watching our group tackle the conditions and compete and perform in spite of them. It's definitely shaping up for a good last chunk of the season. Especially fantastic performances came from Chante Mathews and Aziza Clark – they really showed out."
