Saints Women Have Huge Day At Rice Track Meet

HOUSTON (April 20, 2024) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's track and field team competed in the 20th Annual J. Fred Duckett Twilight Meet sponsored by Rice University on Saturday.

Head Coach Patrick Torres commented, "It was a huge day for standards on the women's side for overall races. Aziza Clark, Kristen Torres and Madison Perez all broke their own school records. Our women's team will be the largest its ever been at nationals this year, and a lot of that happened this weekend."

The men's and women's 4x800m relay teams and jumper De'Jon Lewis will participate in the Red River Athletic Conference Championships on April 26-27. Sprinters from both teams will head out to the Texas Tech University Corky/Crofoot Shoutout. April 26-27.
