OLLU's Parker and Roberts Win RRAC Track and Field Athletes of the Week Awards

WACO, TEXAS (March 7, 2023) -- The Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Women's Track and Field Athletes of the Week have been announced for the dates of Feb. 27-March 5 with this week's honorees including Autumn Roberts (track), and Makhayla Parker (field). This is the first set of RRAC track & field weekly awards for the 2023 outdoor season.

Roberts and teammates Alondra Toledo, Kiana Kebbi and Larrisa McHenry broke the OLLU record in the 4x100m Relay to place first at Trinity with a time of 47.03. Their "A" standard time also qualifies them for the NAIA Nationals. The sophomore from Houston also established a new school mark in the 400m with a time of 58.72 for second place.

Parker, a senior from San Antonio, participated in the long jump and posted a distance of 4.61m to finish in 11th place.
