Trevino Garners Fifth RRAC Defender of the Week Honors

WACO, TEXAS (Oct. 14, 2024) – Tina Trevino of Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) earned the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Volleyball Defender of the Week award for Oct. 7-Oct. 13. This is the eighth set of weekly winners for the 2024 RRAC volleyball season.  

Trevino continues her run of awards with 48 digs in a pair of wins over Louisiana Christian University. The senior libero from Laredo, Texas, propelled the Saints with an average of 8.0 digs per set. Trevino leads the conference with 471 digs and 6.3 per set. OLLU improved to 7-1 in conference play and 14-7 on the season. Trevino has been named Defender of the Week five weeks out of eight this season.
