Bio
JESSE ESPARZA is entering his fifth season with the Saints.
In his first season, the Saints finished with a 19-7 overall record and an appearance in the Red River Athletic Conference championship match.
In Esparza’s second season, he helped guide the Saints to an 11-4 overall record and an undefeated regular season in conference play. They finished the season as Red River Athletic Conference regular season and tournament champions on their way to an appearance in the NAIA National Tournament.
This past season, he assisted the Saints to a 19-6 season, winning the RRAC regular season and falling just short of the tournament championship in five games to Xavier University.
Esparza earned his bachelor’s degree in public health with a concentration in epidemiology and disease control from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2018. He also earned both a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a master’s degree in public health from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2020.
