Saints Women Commanded the Field of Runners to Win OLLU Invite
SAN ANTONIO (Oct. 19, 2023) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's cross-country team captured the OLLU Cross-Country Collegiate Invite this morning The women won this event in 2019, came in third in 2015, 2016, 2018 and 2021 and fourth in 2017.
The Saints tallied 15 points to win the 6k. Other teams participating included Huston-Tillotson, Dallas Christian, UNT-Dallas and North American.
OLLU had the top five finishers including Sierra Ramirez, who won the individual medal with a time of 27:22. Second was Jocelynn Reyes with a time of 28:55, followed by Viridiana Zuniga with a time of 29:31, Daylah Vega with a time of 30:17 and Kennedy Villalpando with a time of 31:20.
