Saints Women Host OLLU Cross-Country Invite on Oct. 12

SAN ANTONIO (Oct. 8, 2024) - The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's cross-country program will hold the Eighth Annual OLLU Cross-Country Invite on Oct. 12. The meet will take place at Windcrest Golf Course located at 8600 Midcrown Dr. in Windcrest, Texas.

Head Coach Brett Charlton commented, "The women's team is coming along and is finally getting healthy at the right time. I'm excited to watch them compete this weekend. The turnout for the meet is great and it should be competitive."

The women will run the 6000m at 8 a.m. Participating schools include Angelo State University, Arlington Baptist University, Cisco College, Dallas Christian College, Hardin-Simmons University, Midwestern State University, Prairie View A&M University, Schreiner University, University of St. Thomas, Sul Ross State, Texas A&M International University, Texas Lutheran University, Trinity College, University of North Texas-Dallas, University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and Victoria College. 

The Saints will send 10 runners to the meet. They include Victoria Bartlett, Mia Curiel, Jasmine Hernandez, Liliana Hernandez, Leilani Leza, Claudia Helena Lopez, Madison Perez, Valeria Peña, Jocelyn Reyes and Daylah Vega.
